We are excited to share a brief overview of Kent Twines.
Our history dates back to July 1892, and we became an incorporated limited company in 1927. Kent & Co (Twines) Ltd has operated from several locations over the decades, including Chapel Street and Lancelot's Way in Liverpool, and most recently the Old Hartley's Jam Factory in Walton until 2018.
Following the retirement of Mr. Mike Hall in May 2018 after nearly 60 years in business, the Cartwright family acquired the company’s assets, machinery, and expertise. We have since relocated to the Staffordshire Moorlands, where the business is now led by Operations Director David Cartwright. Our team includes two original staff members from Liverpool who bring a combined 70 years of experience to the twine industry.
We are immensely proud of our heritage, represented by our logo: "Twine winding since 1926." Our family company is built on a commitment to innovation, modernization, and providing high-value products without ever compromising on quality.
